MEET SOPHIE BUTLER Meet Sophie Butler

Sophie Butler, the 27 year old Disabled & Queer Queen is a force to be reckoned with. Sophie uses her platform to not only empower her audience, but also to educate, through her weekly ’Sunday School with Soph’ and regular communication on subjects such as trolling, disability awareness and self love. Sophie’s embraced passion for creating change and awareness has led her to being the first wheelchair user to cover the Cosmopolitan Magazine in the UK, winning Cosmopolitan’s Influencer of the Year award, the Scope Disability Award 2022 and the bCreator Lifestyle Creator of the Year Award 2023!

Having experienced a gym incident in 2017 which to led to Sophie being paralysed from the waist down, this has not stopped her motivation and drive for fitness and wellbeing. This has been displayed and embraced through her feature in the likes of Women’s Health Magazine as well as her work with brands such as Passenger Assistance, TK Maxx, IHG, Dove, Aussie, Phillips, and Bumble to name a few. The aim is to work closely with brands to help educate and broaden awareness on the Disabled community, working to create inclusivity for all, as well as showing brands and the world that Disabled women are just as beautiful, clever and sexy as non-Disabled women.

Sophie recently launched The Other Girl’s Club, an in-person club to bring people together who just love to be excited about things. Think, a book club, but for albums, movies, new releases, pop culture moments.

This next stage of Sophie’s career is set to be more exciting than ever, and we’re delighted to be a part of it. All we can say is, watch this space!
